
Youth Justice Services
K-W Counselling Services provides counselling to youth who are currently being supervised by a Youth Justice Probation Officer through the Ministry of Children and Youth Services - Youth Justice Services. Counselling is provided for a variety of personal issues including but not limited to: the reason the young person has come in conflict with the law, substance abuse, anger management, family relationships, conflict resolution and trauma work. Clients are normally seen for 5-8 sesssions.
Referral Process: All referrals for this service must be made by Youth Justice Probation Officers. Fees: Counselling is provided at no cost to clients and is fully subsidized by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
