Each Thursday, K-W Counselling Services offers a Walk-In Counselling Clinic from 12-6pm. This serves two purposes: 1) as the “access” or intake  point for most of our counselling services, and 2) at the client’s request, to provide a one and half hour single session to determine the nature of the problem and to leave with a plan to address the issue(s).

Referral Process: No referral process is required for our Walk-In Counselling Clinic. Simply come to our office on Thursdays during our Walk-In Counselling Clinic hours. We endeavour to have clients seen as quickly as possible, and work on a first-come, first-served basis. If, however, a large influx of individuals come in late in the day we may have to ask people to return the following week. Wait times also vary according to the arrivals of clients.

Fees: Fees are based on income level and will be determined at the time of the Intake interview. Some clients are also eligible for subsidies which will be determined during intake. Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds. Individuals are asked to bring their insurance and or Employee Assistance Program information to the agency to assist us in determining the best means of cost coverage for counselling.
